01:55 am - Katsucon post-something I'm back from Katsucon, and I has a sickness. Seems everyone in my house is sick though, so I'm pretty sure I picked up the ill and passed the contagious to others stage before I left for the con. Apart from being sick the con was really fun. I met Rym and Scott of GeekNights, and they seem as cool in person as they do on the show. Jawa preformed his normal Jawa-y charms on them, Andy was his usual creepy panel-interrupting self, and Jawa and I both noticed that Mark and Rym kind of look alike and have similar mannerisms. They could pass for brothers; it's a little weird, especially since that would mean I could also pass as a sibling. We also met Steve Bennett, who I have less words to say about except that he's super nice and crazy awesome. Seriously, if you ever get a chance to see him at a con, you should. It's totally worth it. Sometime on Friday Laura called me and attempted to set me up with an old friend of hers named Lou. I obliged her and called him and we met up and talked for a little while. He seemed like a nice enough guy and possibly the sort of person I could hang out with but not really to my tastes as far as dating and/or sex goes, which I think is what Laura was hoping for. So far everyone I've told this story too has been like "he wasn't your 'type?' what is your type?" Well, he looked very young, for one thing, and I'm thinking more and more that if I'm going to date it should be guys that are my age to a few years older. Next con I'm going to is Animazement in May. It's a couple of weeks after I graduate college, hopefully I'll have a job by then and therefore have money. We've decided to do Team Fortress 2 costumes for it. It'll be the first time I've cosplayed in a while. I'm gonna be the Spy... sappin' your sentry. So far we'll probably also have a Sniper (Mark), a Scout (Will), a Pyro (Jawa), and a Demoman (Norman), possibly a Heavy too if we can get Cal to go. Hopefully we'll find people to do all nine classes. I'm planning to bind my chest down and try to look as masculine as possible. On that note I've found TF2 porn fanfic. I thought it would be disturbing, and some of it is, but most of it is just ridiculous and therefore I find it very funny. Heavy/Medic is a popular and obvious combination, Spy/Engineer, Spy/Sniper, and anybody(especially Medic, Spy, or Sniper)/Scout are also popular. The Pyro, Demoman, and Soldier don't seem to get much love. The Pyro's featured in several things I found, he just doesn't get to have sex. I guess hazmat suits and gasmasks aren't sexy. I found one porn that referred to the Engineer's penis as his "little dispenser" lol. The story in question is also written in second person, for extra lulz. 10:07 am So I'm back from Katsucon. I'm mad tired cause sleep is for losers and poor people. I've decided I'm gonna go down thursday for AZ, the hotel is cheap enough that I can afford it I think. I've already preregistered and stuff. I wanna try to go to Otakon this year too. Anyway I'm laying down some official rules for my con rooms from now on: -NO DRAMA! Katsucon was the first drama free con I've had in years, I'd forgotten how great they are. I'm sick of other people's shit ruining conventions for me and every other cool person in the room. This includes things like getting drunk and making an ass of yourself, arguing with other roommates, and fucking random strangers. -If you're in my room and end up not going to the con you still have to pay. The rest of us shouldn't be penalized because you're irresponsible. -On the alcohol note, no drinking for under-21's. If you're over 21 I'd still prefer if you didn't drink, but since I like mixed drinks and stuff I won't be angry as long as you're responsible about it. -On sunday be packed and out of the room when I say so. I'm not paying extra just because you're lazy. I'll check out and leave all your crap in the room. -If you're riding to the con with me be at the appointed place at the appointed time or I will leave without you. Rules are subject to change as I see fit. Anyone who breaks the rules will be kicked out of the room and banned from rooming with me again.
