02:00 am - It seems I have abnormally small ear canals.
Just made the first comic update since coming home. It is difficult to do here what with the dial up and such.
Here's my plan for the summer:
Get a job, full or almost full time.
Move out of my parents' place.
Finish Memento or whatever the fuck I decide to call it. Try to publish it for reals.
Start a new webcomic. Probably a M-F black and white strip.
Put together a Tokyopop submission.

I still have two papers to write before thursday, a take home exam before friday, and a normalish exam on wednesday morning. After that I'm done. No more college work unless I decide to go to grad school or decide to get a second (third?) degree.
I am fucking edumacated.
Also more TF2 comicing maybe?
Maybe.
( Considering the fact that Spy is my favorite character, I sure draw him getting his ass kicked a lot. )

Someone is stretching my friends page. They should stop.
I am exceedingly tired even though I got plenty of sleep last night. I developed some kind of weird rash on my arms, legs, and neck earlier this week. I think it was an allergic reaction of some sort. It seems to have gone away now though.
I've finished some of the shit I had to do, but also got new shit from that drawing class I hate. We have to make rubbings and draw them. I'm not joking, that's part of the assignment.
Here I will tell you about it:
1: Make sixteen rubbings in various media of various textures
2: Mount those rubbings in a collage on a big paper
3: Draw eight of those rubbings in some kind of collage
4: Make more rubbings in order to recreate a carefully blended charcoal drawing I did earlier in the semester.
We have one week to do this. 1 and 2 are fairly doable, 3 is painful but feasible for me since I work about twice as fast as everyone else in the class. Most of them had not finished their previous assignment yet. 4 is completely retarded and I'm gonna try to get out of doing it. Perhaps by pointing out that we only have a week left and the teacher thinks we have two.
I had a dream last night in relation to that class. We have to submit something to the student art show so I put in this charcoal pumpkin I did earlier.
So in the dream this official person comes up to me and is like "your picture is a hit!"
And I'm like "Cool" but I'm a little confused because it's just a fucking pumpkin.
And they're like "you have to change it or Disney is gonna sue you"
I'm like "The fuck?"
They're like "copyright something"
And I'm like "no, you can't copyright drawings of pumpkins"
The rest of the dream went on in this vein, official person arguing that Disney owns the rights to all pumpkins and their likenesses and me arguing that no this is stupid.

I'm sick today so I'm not going to class. I went to the health center and everything. There are approximately six weeks left until I am no longer an undergrad. Someone remind me to put my resume on Craigslist soonish.
Also everyone should go back and look at my post from yesterday, it was pretty epic. Also here's the blogpost with the actual sketches in it.
In other news Memento part 2 and OH FUCK YES!
I need to have part 3 ready to turn in by tomorrow. D:

Words cannot describe how much I love my new LJ theme. I'm gonna try and post more so I can look at it.
Anyway today is April Fool's Day, thus far there have been two unsuccessful attempts on my life via Rickrolling.
Deviantart had kind of a good joke, everyone's icons liek mudkips.
Anyway, fuck that shit. Nobody here looks at my domain blog so I'll start crossposting sketches.
I wanna draw some TF2 comic shenanigans so I've been doodling the various classes to see how I might draw them. Need some fanart heah! Also needs some work.

So I've been cutting the antibiotic tablets in half and been taking smaller doses more often. No more throwing up. Yay. My ear hurts a lot less too, even if I still can't really hear through it.
I slept til like 3 pm today, not good. Maybe I feel worse than I think I do.
I've been drawing a bit this past week or so. I did a couple of things I was really proud of, but the internets disagreed. I mean, I don't think I'm any kind of art genius or anything, but I think I draw okay. I draw better than people who don't draw at all, at least.
I always try not to, like, assess my skills or lack thereof in public, because I'm worried people will think I'm bragging or being a drama queen or something.
I just think maybe I deserve some kind of recognition, and it's kind of frustrating that I'll work for hours and hours on a drawing to have it not even get looked at, but click a few galleries over on DA and you'll like find some kid getting pages and pages of praising comments on his tracings of Naruto screenshots.
Maybe it's time I realized I'm just not that good. Maybe I should just stop trying?
Would anyone notice or care if I did?
